MOODBOARD #23:
Glimt fra en svunden tid ¦ Glimpses of a bygone era

Matcher min anden gamle skat

Glimpses of a bygone era

Today I got a little bit of the Danish history as a gift from my mother. Play money from the 1950s when she was a little girl…

With theater to Pinnochio for 1 penny – and with a fine hand-written play bill from 13/10/1957 :)

Amazing pastel colors ♥

What strikes me is the amazing pastel color combination – the colors of dusty blue, peach and pale yellow – which completely match the new pastel-colored dots, from “Søstrene Grene” which sweet Puk Hyllested showed on Instagram this Tuesday.

And also the money labeled “Play Money for Danish children” – that would never happen today, as the toy manufacturer probably would be dragged to court due to racial discrimination.

Matches my other old treasures

Even more wonderful is that these play money matches my suitcase of old real bills I have in stock from the 1950s, when my grand parents in law operated a dairy.

Looking forward to see how I can use the old and new treasures :)

Lots of love and happiness, Susanne
