Happy scraps from PIP STUDIO

Feel like sharing a little color injection with you ♥

Happy colors and illustrations make me happy. Dutch PIP STUDIO always makes me happy!

The other day my sweet mother in law gave me a card from PIP STUDIO, because she thought it was just ME. And she was so right. Love it!

And in today’s cleaning up my creative scraps, I came across a cutout with PIP STUDIO all over.

The mood board’s message today is simply just joy and lots of good energy, for both you and me.

Lots of love and happiness, Susanne

MOODBOARD #76:
De små ting i livet ¦ The simple things in life

365 moodboards i 2014. Moodboard #76: De små ting i livet. Snehvide og de syv små dværge. Smashup. Fotograf: Susanne Randers

Gribe nuet. Nyde livet på godt og ondt. Påskønne de små ting her i livet…

The simple things in life

I really try to live right here and now. Seize the moment. Enjoy life for better or worse. Appreciate the small things in life…

The other day I found a beautiful old pop up “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” book in a charity shop, I was so grateful. I love these little eye candy experiences that provide the good feeling within the body. It’s amazing that someone has taken the time and care to make something so beautiful ♥

What is life all about…?

For me, today has been about the little things in life. The simple pleasures. With reflection of what is important in life.

Guess we all have our own answers to life’s many questions, but I have deliberately chosen a positive attitude to attract all the good energies.

“What you say, feel and think you will get. Both bad and good.”

I heard one say to a networking event a few weeks ago… And that is also my belief!

Joy and happiness in the little house in the forrest

So when I stood with the Snow White book in my hand and flipped through it, I became crazy in love with the beautiful, life-affirming illustration which is today’s mood board. Below the image is a beautiful text, which I share with you here:

“They sang and whistled merrily on their way home, for they rejoiced to see Snow White again.

The animals that lived in the forest near the house, were also quite tame and were good friends with her.

When the dwarfs came home, they sat at the table, and Snow White served the dinner. Everything tasted so good, and they praised Snow White a lot for the lovely food.

By sheer joy they began to dance and sing, and they cheered so loudly that they could be heard over half the forest. Yes, they really had a joyful time in the little house in the forrest.”

Extract from the old pop-up “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” book

I vote for more dancing, singing, fun and joy in my every day life!

Lots of love and happiness, Susanne

MOODBOARD #72:
DIY stempel til genbrugs krea poser ¦ DIY stamp for recycling paper goodie bags

365 moodboards i 2014. Moodboard #72: DIY stempel til genbrugs krea poser. Smashup. Fotograf: Susanne Randers

DIY stamp for recycling paper goodie bags

I am a volunteer in Dan Church Social’s new creative studio in middle of the charity store.

I really enjoy to find ancient treasures in the old books that are not readily marketable because they have cracked backs, soiled pages or are totally taped together…

Old yellowed, quite damaged books is truly a treasure for me – and many of the books contain the most beautiful illustrations that I pull out of books and store for upcycling projects.

Last week I made a beautiful pin board of some of the illustrations, and I got the brilliant suggestion from Lisbet *LLL&Co.* via Instagram that I should pack DIY “Do It Yourself” goodie bags that could be sold in the shop.

I started that project today – but did not finish it because I need certain types of illustrations to make a fantastic goodie bag to use for scrap booking, smash booking, collages or other creative projects.

I’ll post here on the blog and on Instagram when the DIY bags are made, if you will want to stop by the store and look at all that delicious old paper.

DIY hand carved stamp

This evening I made a hand carved “DIY” stamp that I can stamp on the label of the goodie bags when they are finished…

So cool to do it yourself ♥ And so cool with recycling ♥

Lots of love and happiness, Susanne
